Spokespeople - Our Team
Mebyon Kernow is different to the national (UK) parties. We are not funded by big business or wealthy individuals so that our voice is not compromised by vested interests. Our spokespeople are not afraid to stand up for justice and common sense, always keeping the best interests of all their fellow citizens at heart. While putting Cornwall first we also recognise that Cornwall has a valid part to play for the good of all in the wider world.

On this page you will find a list of our Spokespeople and their areas of responsibility.
Dick Cole - Party Leader
Leader of Mebyon Kernow since 1997, Dick Cole is well-known as a conscientious, hard-working and out-spoken politician. First elected to Restormel Borough Council in 1999, he now represents his home parish of St Enoder on Cornwall Council. He is also MK's spokesman on housing and planning matters.
