Neil Plummer
Everyone at Mebyon Kernow is extremely saddened to hear of the death of long-standing MK member and passionate Cornishman Neil Plummer.

Neil PlummerA native of Stithians, Neil was first elected to Kerrier District Council in 1976 as an MK councillor and served through to the abolition of the authority in 2009.

He was elected to Cornwall County Council in the 1980s as an independent. Neil also served on the unitary authority for its first four years, when he became part of the Mebyon Kernow Group.

A wonderful singer and cultural activist, he was involved with numerous campaigns and events, such as the Lorient Inter-Celtic festival.

Neil was such powerful voice for a better Cornwall and, at this sad time, our thoughts are with his widow Beatrice.
