Planning says no to out-of-town development near Camborne
MK councillor Zoe Fox spoke at today's meeting of Cornwall Council's Strategic Planning Committee and opposed an unpopular proposal for an out-of-town scheme which would have had an adverse impact on Camborne.

As the Chairman of the Town Council's Planning Committee, Zoe criticised the impact of the development on the character of the area and the setting of the nearby World Heritage Site, the need to protect green fields and the poor nature of the ecological reports that had been submitted by the applicants.

It was turned down unanimously.
