Update on census tick-box campaign
On Friday (12th April), MK leader Cllr Dick Cole was part of a cross-party delegation which met with two representatives of the Office of National Statistics to make representations about a Cornish tick-box on the 2021 census.

Also present from Cornwall Council were Deputy Leader Cllr Julian German (Ind), Cllr Jesse Foot (Lib Dem) and Jordan Rowse (Con).

The meeting itself took place in St Austell and was organised by local MP Steve Double. He was present along with a representative from the office of Scott Mann MP.

It was very, very frustrating meeting. More information to follow over the next 48 hours, with further guidance about how you can support the campaign which continues.
