Strong showing for MK in byelection
In Thursday's Camborne Town Council by-election (Roskear Ward), MK’s Ryan Congdon was only eight votes behind the winning Conservative candidate and he polled ahead of the Labour nominee.

The result was:
Conservative - 230
Ryan Congdon (MK) - 222
Labour – 185

Party leader Cllr Dick Cole said: "Well done to Ryan and his team for a very positive result. While we are disappointed to miss out by only a handful of votes, we are pleased with the result and look to do even better in the future."
